Any additional comments you would like to include in your state profile?

Washington: Washington State has collected post-school data for over 20 years. Statewide involvement has been a major goal for the past 10 years and the number of districts participating has increased from 13% to over 90%.
New Mexico: We appreciate your technical assistance and prompt response to questions. The community of Practice Teleconferences are very helpful in gaining perspectives on other states. Excellent conference in Portland last spring, unable to attend in Denver, but hope you have another scheduled soon.
Wisconsin: Districts receive an auto-fill summary report (used to fulfill Indicator 14 reporting requirements)and an auto-fill report template that districts can use when writing their district report (optional). This year a data analysis section was added for districts involved in data retreats, which helps them view, sort and compare local and statewide outcomes data. Two outcomes improvement planning forms are provided.
Kentucky: Kentucky is moving to a census for data collection beginning with the 2009-2010 school year.
Wyoming: We are still in the development of our date gathering process and may modify what we are planning to do at this time.
Oregon: system is still under construction
California: We need presentations and power points to demonstrate to various ways of collecting post school data
Ohio: Currently we continue to develope improvements in the data collection process in order to connect this work with the continuous improvement efforts of the districts. We continue to need to improve the process of exiting and post school information on student who drop out.
Indiana: N/A
West Virginia: The SEA continues to refine its surveys and assistance to districts regarding data collection. Obtaining the one year follow up responses has been our greatest challenge to date (addresses and phone numbers change frequently).
Montana: NPSO has rpovided valuable interpretive technical assistance
Delaware: None
Arizona: Not at this time.
